Donut for Amirul

 
Petang tadi hari hujan perut mula terasa lapar. Fikiran mula terlayang layang apa yang harus di buat untuk makan petang nanti. Jika hari hujan begini sedap juga jika ada cucur udang tapi kekurangan bahan . Apa nak buat.....tercari cari maka teringat lah pada Buku " Make your own Bread" keluaran Nuvum itu dan terhasil lah Donut ini.


Donut

140g shifted bread flour
60 g shifted cake flour
30 g butter
8 g fresh yeast
70 ml cold water
1 egg
15 g granulated sugar
5 g salt

Method.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead into dough. Slam down onto work surface until elastic. Place dough in mixing bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes.
Divide dough into portions of 60g each, and leave for 20 minutes.
By hand. Roll each portion into strip, and join 2 end together to form a ring or you may
use round cutter.
Let rise till double in size, and deep-fry till golden-brown. Leave cold for 5 minuted before you
can coat with melt chocolate or sugar.
